Godzilla 70th Anniversary

I was commissioned to design the Godzilla 70th anniversary pop-up, marketing materials, and organic social content.

Pop-Up Design

I created graphics with images provided by Toho for the design of the interior, exterior, and photo-op area. I leveraged these images to create various points of interest while shopping and for creating an immersive photo area where visitors could feel as though they were part of the Godzilla universe.

Metro Glass Ad: Little Tokyo/Arts District Station

I designed a Metro glass banner promoting movie screenings at the Aratani Theatre as well as a 70th anniversary pop-up shop in Little Tokyo. I also suggested to Metro to use the Godzilla roar as an auditory activation for metro riders catching the train at the Little Tokyo/ Arts District Station.

Metro Train Wrap

I designed a Metro train wrap for the E line that travels from Downtown Santa Monica to Atlantic Blvd. The train wrap was active from October 28 to November 17, 2024.

Metro TAP Cards

I designed event exclusive Metro TAP Cards in celebration of the Godzilla’s 70th anniversary.

Metro Video Wall

I created a short video activation for the Metro Video Wall at the Hollywood Station near the TLC Chinese Theatre

Promotional Bag

I designed a promotional bag as a giveaway for purchases of $50 or more at the Godzilla Pop-up Shop.

Social Media Live Streams

I also hosted social media live streams building up and covering the Godzilla 70th Anniversary that made the most of the request for an organic campaign. This included a tour previewing the pop-up shop, highlighting the event exclusive merchandise, collaborating with Godzilla infleuncer KaijuKrys, and showcasing the movie screening of the 1954 Godzilla and Godzilla Minus One at the Aratani Theatre.
